Cashew Snack

  • 1 Lb raw cashews
  • 1 Cup water
  • 1/4 Cup sugar
  • 1 1/2 Pint vegetable oil
Place first 3 ingredients in a sauce pan. Bring to a boil, lower heat, and simmer for 8-10 minutes. Drain. Heat oil . Deep fry the cashews for 8-10 minutes, or until they turn golden brown. Remove with a strainer and drain on paper towels. Allow to cool before serving.
